Puzzle Shuffle is developed by Lauren Rose Software ("we", "us").
This policy explains how the app handles your information.

1. DATA WE COLLECT

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. Puzzle Shuffle has no developer-run accounts and contains no analytics or tracking.
All game data — saved puzzles, move counts, completion stats, daily streaks, and settings — is stored locally on your device and never leaves it except through your device's own backup (see “Device Backup” below).
IOS
Stored using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults) and app files.
ANDROID
Stored using Android's standard on-device storage (SharedPreferences) and app-private files.

2. PHOTOS AND CAMERA
─────────────────────────────────────
If you choose to make a puzzle from your own photo or a camera shot, the image is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared. It is used only to generate your puzzle and is stored locally alongside your saved game.
IOS
Photo library and camera access is requested only when you use those features.
ANDROID
Photos are chosen via the system Photo Picker (no storage permission required);
the camera is used via the system camera app.

3. IN-APP PURCHASES

Puzzle Shuffle offers a single optional one-time “Premium” purchase. Payments are handled entirely by the platform's store — we never receive your payment details or card information.
IOS
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit), governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
ANDROID
Purchases are processed by Google through Google Play Billing, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. LEADERBOARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS

Puzzle Shuffle includes optional leaderboards and achievements. These require signing in with your platform gaming account; if you do, that sign-in and any scores you submit are handled by the platform provider under their own privacy policy. We do not receive your account credentials. You can use the entire game without signing in.

Provided by Apple Game Center, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
ANDROID
Provided by Google Play Games Services, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

5. NOTIFICATIONS

Optional daily-challenge and streak reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to or from any server.
IOS
Local notifications; you're asked for permission when you enable reminders.
ANDROID
Local notifications; on Android 13+ you're asked for the notification permission when you enable reminders.

6. DEVICE BACKUP

Your locally-stored game data may be included in your device's standard backup. Such backups are controlled by you and governed by the platform provider's privacy policy — not by us.

Android backup (Google Drive), governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Puzzle Shuffle contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external services are the platform's own — Apple's (Game Center, StoreKit) or Google's (Play Games Services, Play Billing) — used solely to provide the features described above.

8. CHILDRENS PRIVACY

Because we collect no personal information whatsoever, Puzzle Shuffle poses no special privacy risk to children and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, regardless of age.

9. YOUR RIGHTS

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. All of your game data lives on your own device and is removed when you delete the app. If you have any questions, you may contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
